Tacho Manager turns each driver's card file into a pay forecast: a base salary per period plus kilometres, worked hours, nights away from base and weekly rests outside the origin, at the rates you set. Companies review it day by day; drivers see the same figures from their own account.
Company accounts configure the rates and review every driver's forecast; a driver account sees its own payroll once a company it is linked to grants payroll access.

Daily distance comes from the odometer readings stamped on the card's place records, so per-km pay needs no manual mileage. Corrupt readings and vehicle changes are filtered out.
A night away is paid only when the card shows a continuous daily rest outside your origin zone. National and international nights carry separate rates; card-removal gaps never count.
Define named payroll tiers with their own rates and assign one to each driver in the driver editor. Drivers without a tier use the company default.
When the first file after month end arrives, that month is saved as a snapshot with the settings then in force. Change the settings later and the app flags it; you decide whether to recalculate.
Grant payroll access and the driver sees the same forecast, day by day, in their own account, including any night the company added or struck out and the reason given.
Go to Modules → Payroll. Enable the calculation, choose monthly, biweekly or weekly periods, enter the base salary, tick the variants you pay and set the rates, the origin and an optional daily cap.
Payroll runs on the files already in the archive. The open period is estimated live from the driver's newest file; a closed period is computed from the first file downloaded after it ended.
From Info, click a driver in the Payroll forecast card, or open the driver's file and pick Payroll. Each period shows base, extras and total with a day-by-day table of location, hours, night out and amount.
Strike out or add a night allowance with a reason the driver sees, recalculate a frozen month after a settings change, and tick Payroll access so drivers see their own figures.
Choose whether driving, other work and breaks under 15 minutes count as work, and cap the payable hours per day. Counted hours are paid at your per-hour rate.
Set the origin country and region, or pick a point on the map with a radius in km. Days ending outside it count as away; the zone is national or international by the country recorded on the card.
Optionally pay a weekly rest of 24 to 45 hours, or of 45 hours and more, taken away from origin: once per week, cancelled if an equal rest was taken at home that week, and exempt from the daily cap.
Limit the combined per-km, per-hour and per-night pay for a single day. A night allowance higher than the cap is still paid in full; the base salary is never affected.
Set the day the driver started with you. Card data before it earns nothing, and the base salary of the first period is pro-rated to the days employed.
With the GPS tracking module and the payroll GPS switch on, tracker positions refine the region shown per day, verify nights out and fill distance gaps on days the card has no odometer. Card activities stay the source of truth.
The driver-card files already uploaded for the driver. The current period is a live estimate from the newest file; each closed period is frozen from the first file downloaded after it ended, and that file name is shown on the period.
Yes. In the driver's profile the company ticks Payroll access. The driver then finds Payroll in the menu, with one tab per company that granted access, limited to the current and previous month.
The frozen month keeps its figure and shows a Settings changed badge. Click Recalculate on that month to apply the current settings; nothing changes until you do.
A day counts when the driver ends it outside the origin zone and takes a continuous rest of at least the minimum hours you set. Gaps with the card removed do not count. The company can nullify or add a night with a reason.
